About me

After decades as a journalist – most recently an investigative producer for NBC News in Los Angeles – I made a bold move in 2025: I left my career behind and relocated to Chicago’s North Shore. I’d built my career asking people tough questions, but suddenly, I had to ask myself the hardest one: what’s next professionally?

The answer was right in front of me.

I discovered Pilates years ago, when a herniated disc caused debilitating lower back pain. The reformer strengthened my core and stabilized my spine, and over time, I was moving freely, without pain. Pilates gave me a healthier, more resilient body, and I felt energized in every part of my life.

That’s why I believe Pilates is for everyone. It’s not about being flexible or having perfect form – it’s about building a body that supports you in everything you do. Whether you’re chasing kids, logging long hours at a desk, training for your next race, or recovering from injury, Pilates meets you where you are and helps you feel your absolute best.

I completed my training through Balanced Body, the gold standard in Pilates certification. I teach classic Pilates with a contemporary twist.
